Q: What can I do about bad breath?
There are numerous potential causes of bad breath. Gum disease, diet, sinus problems, digestive
problems may all contribute to the problem. Starting with a through cleaning and exam is
recommended. At home regular brushing, flossing, cleaning of the tongue and mouth wash may
also help.
Q: How does fluoride help prevent tooth decay?
Fluoride is like vitamins for your teeth that strengthen enamel to prevent tooth decay.
Q: Does my insurance cover this?
We do our best to let you know your estimated cost before your scheduled appointment. Precise
amounts can be given by pre-authorizing your work which can take 4-6 weeks.

We do our best to get our patients schedule as soon as possible, including new patients. We offer
evening hours and one Saturday a month. See our hours and location section for more details.
Q: At what age should my child first see the dentist?
The ADA recommends a child should be seen after their first tooth comes in. Our experience,
however, shows if a parent sees an area of concern they should contact their dentist. Commonly we
will first clean a child’s teeth between the ages of 3 and 5.
